Mike Ostaffe has served on the Planning Commission for nearly four years and attended every major city council work session and budget meeting during that period—something other candidates failed to do.

Unlike other candidates, Mike attended the 2024 budget work sessions without political motivation or a personal agenda. He could begin the role immediately with minimal learning curve due to his extensive preparation and attendance at council meetings.

Mike advocates for public safety, fiscal responsibility, park preservation, and economic development while respecting the city's existing vision and strategic plans. He is an independent thinker who asks questions and speaks his mind while understanding the importance of following established plans with adjustments as needed.
