Working together to build a stronger, more connected community for all Maple Grove residents.

Your Voice on the City Council

Thank you, Maple Grove! I am honored to serve as your City Councilmember, elected in November 2024 and sworn in January 2025. My term runs through December 31, 2028, and I am committed to representing your interests and working toward our shared vision for this great community.
I also serve as the Council Liaison to the Arbor Committee, helping to maintain and enhance Maple Grove's beautiful tree canopy and green spaces.

My family and I have called Maple Grove home for almost 19 years. I have been married to my wife for 30 years, and our three children started Kindergarten at Basswood and graduated from Maple Grove High School. I've served our community as a youth sports coach, school tutor, Chairman of the School Board, a member of the Maple Grove Lions, and most recently on the Planning Commission before being elected to the Council.
Current Priorities
Public Safety
Public Safety remains the foundation of our thriving community. As your Councilmember, I continue to support our police officers, firefighters, school resource officers, and staff who keep Maple Grove safe for families and businesses.
Infrastructure
Maple Grove faces significant infrastructure projects involving water, roadways, facilities, and our Community Center—with a combined impact exceeding $200 million. I work with my fellow Council members to prioritize these projects responsibly and ensure reliable services for our residents and businesses.
Parks and Recreation
Our parks and recreation system is a shining jewel in Maple Grove. From Central Park to Fernbrook Fields to Town Green, I am committed to making good investment decisions that keep these amenities available for current and future generations.
Economic Development
Maple Grove continues to attract new businesses and development. In 2025, we celebrated the completion of Highway 610 across the city and welcomed new industrial partners like BAE Systems. I work to guide growth in an economically responsible manner.
